More came out over the Puigdemont story here in Germany.
The German state court said in a blunt way that the maximum possible sentence (after they'd reviewed Spanish law) was NOT going to be 30 years of prison time for Puigdemont in Spain....but limited to a max of eight years.
Reaction by Madrid? Mostly quiet. They now have to admit within the Spanish news media that they'd applied the law in the wrong fashion, and the Germans basically reviewed reality, and said 'no, you screwed up when you went after this guy'.
What happens next? Unknown.
