I spent an hour in a German grocery today. So....the shortages?
1. Toilet paper. To be honest, I've got eighty total rolls in the basement.....enough for ten months minimum. This grocery will put up three pallets each morning and they generally sell out by 10 AM.
2. Disinfectant. It's pretty bare. To be honest, I've got a case of vinegar in the basement.
3. Flour. All gone. Kinda shocking....they still had a decent shock last week.
4. Soap. I would suggest that soap offering is fifty-percent of what would normally be on the shelf.
5. Frozen food. A lot is still there but there were open spots throughout the refrigerator area.
Fruit and vegetables? No problem. Prices? Well, they might be 10-percent higher than a month ago.
