As of Friday of last week.....5,000 Germans were 'stuck' in South Africa....unable to leave via their original reservations and air tickets.
Based on efforts by the German Foreign Ministry and the South Africans....there's a plan to fly the 'guests' out via South African Airways (paid by the German government in some way).
