About every six months, I'll read some German history piece that will have a direct quote that leads back to Adolph Hitler. The problem is.....while Hitler might have uttered it in a speech, it's probably very high odds that some speech-writer within the Nazi Party heard it from someone and just inserted into some public speech of Hitlers.
So I'll give you some examples of Hitler quotes:
1. "If you wish the sympathy of the masses....you must tell them the crudest and most stupid things".
2. "Life doesn't forgive weakness."
3. “I don't see much future for the Americans ... it's a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities ... my feelings against Americanism are feelings of hatred and deep repugnance ... everything about the behavior of American society reveals that it's half Judaised, and the other half negrofied. How can one expect a State like that to hold together?”
4. "Never trust a person who isn't having at least one crisis."
Fake quotes out there? That's also part of the history problem as well.
You have to remember....this was a guy who rose to prominence as a wall-paper hanger and painter, and did courier-service while in WW I. This isn't a guy who studied philosophy, Nietzsche, economics, or Engels.
