Covid Testing While Flying Out?

Travel piece came on last night via HR, and a Corona item came up over the Frankfurt Airport.

So you arrive and need some evidence for your destination country that you are 'clean' (without Corona)?

Facility is up and operational.

For 59 Euro, a six to eight hour wait....you can get one test.

For 139 Euro, a three-hour wait....you can get the speedy test.

So you add in the parking-the-car experience (figure 90 minutes), and turning in the bags with the entry-pass episode (figure 60 minutes), and then figure a minimum of six hours for the 59 Euro test.

For a 3 PM flight, you'd have to be there by 7AM....to get all these thing accomplished.  My advice is to do this the afternoon before the morning flight.....course, hoping you get a negative result out of the test.

Tests required for EU countries, if leaving from Frankfurt?  No.

But if you were traveling to China....it's mandatory.

The anti-bodies test?  Also available, for 111 Euro.
