1. I noticed off WELT this AM....a majority of Germans support the idea of the Ukraine being in NATO. I was a bit surprised over this poll. Oddly enough, Erdogan (Turkey) supports the idea.
2. Knife attacks in the Netherlands are on the rise. I noticed one supermarket chain has a new policy....not to sell knives.
3. If you follow the Ruble as a currency...20-percent drop since January. Trend-wise, I'd say another 20-percent drop will occur before 1 January 2024.
4. In the middle of the Tour de France race....Covid seems to have popped up and forced people to urge mask use.
5. Odd episode out of Eppingen (Baden-Wurttemberg region). Cops now believe some local woman went out and found a 'doppelganger' (look-alike) and arranged for this woman to be murdered. All an effort to fake one's death? Yeah, it appears so. Cops are now looking for the real woman.
