Five Things On This Netherlands Election Business

 1.  When they had the 2021 national election in the Netherlands....there were 37 parties on the list.  Thirteen had enough votes to get seats.

2.  One of the more unusual parties on the vote-list was the 'Jesus Lives' Party.  They were mostly a pro-Jesus political party.  They had 5,057 votes in the 2021 election. I should note that while they are pro-environment....they are also anti-EU.  Don't ask me how anti-EU is a Jesus-factor.

3.  The Party of the Future (PvtD) has one key idea....making everything a public vote, up or down....you wouldn't need the Parliament to do much.

4.  The turn-out for the 2021 election was 78-percent.  Some people suggest this September election might go past 80-percent.

5.  The possibility of five parties having to form the coalition?  You can do the numbers, and if the center-right BBB and PVV form up....wanting only right-of-center participation....you'd have to anticipate at least three more small parties being in the mix.
