Curious Chatter You Notice

 1.  New topic popped up in the past week or two in Germany....politicians wanting to fund body-cams for not only police (state and federal) but also fire departments.  You go and figure around 250 Euro for a decent body cam (or 100 Euro for a marginal one)...this would get into a hefty amount of money.  But they seem pretty serious....wanting video to prosecute on assaults.

2.  Lambrecht leaving the Defense Minister job?  She's had the job for twelve months, and I would estimate that she's had a 'stumble' on average....about every two weeks.  She just didn't fit, and I think she probably was dragged in by the leadership of the SPD Party to fill this....when she didn't want the job.  Who gets the job now?  Unknown....but it's likely to be another person who isn't happy about the situation.

3.  German gov't had to admit that right before they arrested their 'Russian-spy' within the BND secret service....they promoted the guy.

4.  Germany is averaging one ATM machine blow-up every single day now, with 2022 statistics.

5.  The 'free' Covid test provided by the federal gov't?  That ends shortly.

6.  Tesla is lowering car prices in Germany....differing discounts....some as much as 17-percnet off the normal price.  Attempt to get people hyped-up on the E-car.
