1. I noticed today....that public TV (ARD) announced that the number one public forum show (Sunday nights, 9:45 PM, the Anne Will Show) will end in December 2023 (after 16 years).
Reason given....the contract would not be extended to Anne Will. It would appear that ARD wanted move on and have a different format.
A big deal? I generally classify her public forum as a better deal. It was more intellectual than most....more political, and Will was capable of push-back.
What'll come next? I'm guessing one of the v-i-p journalists (probably Ingo Zamperoni)....will get to freshen up the show....maybe less intellectual stuff and more media shows.
2. If you were looking at energy pricing currently....things have simmered down a bit.
Prior to Covid....a megawatt of power ran in the range of 35 to 55 Euro. Four months ago, with the war crap hyping things....the same megawatt was running 500 Euro and shocking the hell out of Germans. Yesterday, they surveyed pricing and agree....presently....it's back into the range of 180 Euro (still a shock but not killing your budget for 2023).
3. Finally, all this stuff to redo the whole Berlin city election of 2021....has come to a group of odd problems. If you remember the story....they fu**ed-up the city election enough, that the court said 'nope'.....redo it (supposed to occur in 3 weeks.
Well....they admit the date on the ballots...is incorrect now.
They also admit that the posters being put up around the city....some of them have the candidates of 2021, but in some cases....those folks are not today running.
