Five German News Stories

 1.  If you remember the two Iranian guys arrested last weekend (I essayed this already)....with the plan to poison thousands of Germans, an update came up late yesterday.  Cops say that there was supposed to be a delivery of the raw caster beans this past Saturday to their apartment residence.  That was what speeded up the raid on their apartment.  Oddly enough.....the delivery did not occur.  Cops don't say if they intercepted it, or if just dumb-luck.

2.  Big long piece over at Focus, over the Bundeswehr (Army) numbers.  Basically, this plan to have 203,000 troops in uniform by 2025....is a failure.  They are revising their 'hopes'.  Present number in uniform?  Around 183,000.  They are suggesting that they might reach 203,000 by 2030 now.

All-volunteer force?  Yes.  Just not a thing that young German teens aspire to get into?  Yeah, I'd suggest that.

3.  Regionally (here in the Wiesbaden region), by the end of Feb....at least one train-line will be powered by hydrogen.  Lot of hyped-up chatter....'the way of the future, and so on'.

4.  Poland made a decision to hand over some Leopard tanks to Ukraine....likely to put more pressure on Germany to release tanks as well.

5.  Some chatter has started up about a 'truth-commission' over actions taken for the Covid 'era'.  I'd give it less than a 20-percent chance of occurring.  Mostly a few virus experts/medical folks suggesting this.  Politicians aren't that interested.

Although I think Peter Dazsack has a fair bit of explaining to do for covering up his involvement in the whole debacle. Would like to see a complete cross examination of him and his baijo drinking buddies in PRC.

I'd give that less than 1% chance of happening though.

Perhaps, but Dazsack is just one of dozens who might have found funding vehicles to run science beyond the US/SK/Japan/EU/UK border. Even in Ukraine, I bet a dozen research centers existed prior to Covid/War, and no one uttered a word of warning. The sad thing here...there might be a dozen major discoveries made yearly from these less-than-controlled-facilities, which we benefit from, and premium-drugs for the next generation are produced from.

It's not good or bad....it's just the reality of what we've allowed to be created.

Oh I know, but it's the denial and misdirection that's the problem. Not the fact that he was involved. Had he come forward with all the relevant information rather than running a smokescreen for the PRC we might have saved millions of lives.

Just my humble view, but whoever developed this from the bats...I have serious doubts that it had advanced to the stage where they had the solution to cure or lessen the effect. If anything...the Chinese seem to have a lesser quality vax deal...than what the Germans have (I'd say the same for the Russian poor quality vax). Won't surprise me as Chinese tourists arrive here now....getting a Covid German vax might be on their list of things to get while here.

Once out of the lab....it was best to shut up and not claim any credit. Even in front of Xi...they won't dare suggest it was created there.

In the end...it speeded up the spiral for China as a world production site, and economically....puts them in 2023 in a dismal position.

And as for the wet market chatter...if it were true, the last place any Chinese idiot would ever shop again...would be the wet markets. Do you see any lessening effect (absolutely zero)? They cleaned them for effect, but otherwise....full operation in all of those today.
