Scholzing

It's an invented word....no one is sure who invented but the definition of scholzing comes across as a communication effort (speech, promise, written material)....that always has good intentions tied to it, and in the days or weeks that pass...nothing much comes from the communications effort.

Bullshit artist....is what we used to call it in the 1970s/1980s.

Even German teenagers chat over the use of the term now.

With world leaders we have today, it is no wonder why Putin invaded Ukraine. Every major power has the weakest leadership imaginable, with no true leadership in site for, at least, this decade.

Germans have said this. Americans have said it. Brits have said it. Even the French have said this.

Most have sold their 'brand/message' via social media and with a lot of 'things-are-going-change' chatter.

In the case of Germany, there's little doubt we are in Merkel era version 2.0. There's just not that much difference between Scholz and Merkel.
