Yes, official as of this morning.
Her chief blame? She says the news media stayed constantly focused on the Bundeswehr and her management style. If you asked me....there's probably over thirty 'stumbling points' that she crossed over in one single year.
I would suggest that she was never really the 'fit' for the job, and over the past 20 years....the German military has been a magnet for budget issues and operational status.
Nifty fact? German law says she is now 'promised' 3 months of full salary....figure 16,614 Euro a month....adding up to around 50,000 Euro.
On top of that.....she has some entitlement to HALF the salary for the next 2 months....figuring up to around 175,000 Euro.
So it's over 200,000 Euro that the government will have to pay her now. A lot of whining will occur with working-class Germans.
This will be discussed a good bit, but it's the law.
