Very Odd Autobahn Closure

So, this essay involves the A7 area around Northeim-Nord and Lutterberg for about 60 kilometers.  On the map?  Just north out of Kassel (Hessen, central Germany).

What the cops say?  There is a chemical paraffin item....dropped on road surface....either accidentally or  on purpose.

Originally, it was liquid form....then it hardened (not rock hard).  My description?  Some of is the size of sugar cubes....some are the size of golf balls.

Around fifteen street sweepers are going up and down autobahn area.  They say the autobahn section was closed early Monday AM and presently still in closure.

Dangerous?  The science guys simply say it's slick.

Intentional act?  There's just no proof of it.....but this is some type of compound that would rarely get transported around.....so some company probably realizes what happened, and they don't want to admit their fault in this.
