Probably one of the more severe storms in the past couple of decades.
German railway system shut down all long-distance travel trains around 6 to 7 PM yesterday. They may not start back up today. A number of the regional train routes were also shut down. Local routes are 'iffy'.
The Frankfurt Airport? A lot of flights for last night were cancelled.
Around my neighborhood? There's no doubt that winds got up to seventy mph last night. I have yet to inspect damage.
