Yesterday (Sunday), down in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg....this guy had his new car delivered.
Brand-new Ferrari. 360,000 Euro (roughly 400k US dollars) of value.
720-horsepower.
He and a friend got into it, and rode off for an hour.
Coming home....on the autobahn....with summer tires on (big mistake)....it crashed (wet road). Total loss, according to the police....will be delivered to the junk-yard.
Odds of insurance paying off? Well....we are still in the winter-tire season. That insurance guy will probably go and have the audit guy examine things, and it's questionable to me if the owner gets paid for the wreck.
For most of us guys, there'd be a whole lot of weeping going on.
