For the most part, Covid ban-rules are still in effect....however, this morning....the police in Frankfurt reported that they got called out at 3 AM this morning.
What's said via N-TV this morning (Sunday), is that around 500 locals came to meet up in the mid-town area of Frankfurt....near the Opera-Haus.
Bottles were thrown....no masks....lot of boozing and partying going on in the public area.
Arrests? Near forty.
Warm season approaching and people just forsaking the ban-rules? More or less. I'd expect this to be a weekly event from this point on....with the pressure on the city leadership to either hype up the ban-rules (bringing in more police), or dismantle the rules.
