While watching N-TV this morning, there's this one interesting Covid report, which I will describe in simple detail.
So this math expert (Jan Fuhrmann) who works for the Institute for Applied Mathematics at Heidelberg University, came up with statistical data involving vaccinated and unvaccinated Germans.
He says this....in general....you end up with a lesser infection rate among vaccinated people, but for this one odd reason.
Vaccinated people seldom need to show a negative test (quickie-test or PCR test) for events or entry.
Surprisingly along this path....the vaccinated people will often have what is a asymptomatic situation for the virus....meaning they don't show symptoms as often.
Finally, as he says.....there's this perception that they can't be infected because they are vaccinated.
In simple terms....we aren't getting a true image of the infected number, and the passing of the virus simply continues on. You could make the case as we got all these high numbers of people vaccinated....no one was really worried about this crowd anymore because they felt they were truly 'protected'. So the guy got Covid....had light symptoms, and walked around in the bar, pub, or restaurant.....giving here and there.
It would explain why the surge has taken off in the past month across Germany.
