Germany and Covid: 15 Nov 2021

 1.  7-day infection rate for Germany (per 100k residents) is 303 (per Focus reporting, early this AM).  Yeah, it's fairly (exceptionally) high.  Roughly 470k residents are in some type of quarantine at present (at home or in the hospital).   My local area of Wiesbaden?  The city is reporting (as of last night) a 7-day incidence rate of 142.

2.  Austria is resorting to a nightly curfew of 10 PM (not as harsh as the Germans did previously).

3.  This chatter of non-vax people not being allowed on trains or buses, without meeting the 3G rules (vaxed, recovered, or tested)?  This is apparently moving forward in the discussion stage.  How you'd make this work, without massive audits?  Unknown.
