The One Out of Twenty Story

I was looking over a WELT news item today.....they suggest that out of every twenty Germans....one is 'friendly' (acceptable) to the Reichsburger political spectrum.  What they means?  These are people who subscribe to the idea that the federal republic doesn't exist, and some pieces of the old 1914 Monarchy is in some form today.  Yeah, it's a bit right-wing and on the far extreme side of politics.

One out of twenty?  Well....it's suggested.  I would think it depends on how you ask the question.

This worrying the political spectrum?  It's enough that they have to counter the scale in some way.  You wouldn't want this to double or triple in size.

Actually having a discussion over the Monarchy that went away?  It might be interesting to present the case that it simply doesn't exist anymore.

In todays political climate, we now have Elected Royalty. Once given power by the people, the majority of political folk deem themselves above all else. A prime example, Gerhardt Schroeder and his 8 thousand euro suits, Baerbock and her 170,000 euro make up artist, etc, etc. The world has become filled with narcissists, and we elect them to office.

I hate seeing the Baerbock 170k Euro hairdresser thing brought up. For decades, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Germany....got a haircut every two weeks, and probably never paid more than 20 D-Marks (before the Euro). Before Schroder came along....most of these guys wore 400 D-Mark suits....ill-fitting and if they wore a hat...it was something they picked up for less than 50 D-Marks.

Lot of fashion-trend crap. Even the nightly journalists on ARD look like they stepped out of some fashion magazine or some high-street glamor shop.
