Two German News Stories

 1.  This AM, Focus put up an interesting story over migrants in Germany.

It's in the 300,000 range....for people who've entered Germany, filled out the visa paperwork, were evaluated, and failed the process.  The majority of them?  Iraq, Nigeria and Afghanistan.

For the most part, these are all countries that in a unfriendly status today,  and the Germans can't bring themselves to send the failed applicants back.

2.  WELT had a piece this morning over a study that concludes German police officers have an existing prejudice against homeless people and Muslims.  The German Interior Minister is already promising consequences.

I suspect if you just did the study against 'all' Germans (not just the police)....a majority would have the same condition.  Selling the consequences talk to the general public might not have the effect that they think.
