The Melmac Discussion

There's a great piece from WELT today, if you can find the news copy....written by Miaden Gladic.  Title? 'The Earthly'.

So Miaden goes and asks the question....what if all the UFO/UAP chatter is true, and aliens do exist?

Then the question goes to.....'what if they are like the folks who come from Melmac'?

You know....like Alf....our furry TV show alien from the 1980s.

There were 102 episodes of Alf, and I probably saw all of these a minimum of twice (especially from season 1).

This idea has led me to the idea....what if a highly advanced race once crashed their craft on a Melmac-like planet where X-people version one lived and had some basic understanding of the technology?

So X-people version one took off a hundred years later, and crashed on another Melmac-like planet where x-people version two lived and were really LESS advanced.  Fifty years later, they took off and marginally flew it to a 3rd planet (Melmac-like where x-people version three lived, and they were really even MORE marginal in their advancement.

So this group of Melmac-like folks took off and crashed on Earth....maybe five or six Melmac marginal teams....who really don't understand the technology....leaving it for us to Melmac-our-way through this mess.

What if...in the 1980s....the Pentagon finally realized....whoever these crashed alien idiots are....they really don't know much about the craft and aren't the brightest folks around...leaving them to dream up a Melmac syndrome advancing through the universe (a bunch of copycat dimwits who really shouldn't be space-traveling).

Just something to pause over....that maybe we are dealing with a bunch of Alf-characters...who like cats.

You really need to get out more.

Logically, it would explain the crashes (of UFOs), and the limited advancement of these US companies in figuring out the technology. One might take this to the next level....that talking to the aliens hasn't gotten far, because they don't seem that connected to their own technology.

Course, if you were some PhD US Pentagon guy and came to the Melmac reality....it'd probably shake you up on reality.
