Today, the German gov't said this guy 'caught'...was a Bundeswehr officer in a logistical capacity.
So the rest of the deal?
They say he was in contact with the Russian embassy, and had some devotion to the AfD Party.
He passed on some type of information, which was tracked in some way by the German prosecutor office.
Angle? They say politically, he was hooked to the AfD Party, and had become pro-Russian.
Just a wild thought, but if you went down the listing on all Bundeswehr members (200,000).....there's probably a minimum of ten-percent who have some attachment or approval of the AfD Party. If you started to investigate and talk of dismissing folks? Well...this would turn into a pretty intense mess, and a manpower shortage in a matter of six months.
I would imagine over the next month....this will be hyped up a good bit by the government.
