When Did The German War Effort Really End In WW II?

This is an interesting topic, and I always point at one single event....2 Feb 1943....the surrender of the German Army at Stalingrad to the Soviets.

Loss?  91,000 German soldiers.  The 6th Army came to no longer exist.

I suspect from this point on, if you'd quizzed most German military officers....they probably said any real belief in a German 'end-game-win' was no longer possible.

So from 2 Feb on....this was a long scripted defeat problem for the Germans?  Yeah.  Oddly enough, it's such a depressing year for Hitler, that by December....with a big meeting coming up with Mussolini....his staff convince Hitler to get these vitamin-shots (loaded with cocaine)....to keep him hyped-up and focused on the war.
