It's one of those stories best not to admit to in public or have any German leadership discuss in some forum.
Focus brought up this little item today within it's daily news.....maybe ten lines to the story, at best.
If you remember the Chemnitz stabbing death from around three weeks ago, which stirred up a bunch of local folks and got page one headlines.....well....the cops do hold two guys with accusations of the stabbing (more immigrants).
But there is this third guy who was at the scene and part of this stabbing act in some way. No one is saying he stabbed....just that he was there with the other two guys. For whatever reason, he quickly departed the scene and has not been since then. Yes, he has literally disappeared.
The cops have his picture and have posted it via TV and public places. There is an arrest warrant out for this guy. And they even note up front....he is considered armed (with a knife) and dangerous.
The guy? 22-year-old Farhad Ramazan Ahmad.
So the history with this guy? This guy came into Germany (from Iraq) around three years ago. Oddly he could not establish any war experiences or serious woes. The Germans went over his application and things just didn't add up to him getting asylum, so the application was rejected.
At this point, you'd have to ask questions and wonder.....is the guy really an Iraqi? I would have my doubts, based on the information in the article. Fake Iraqi? If you go back to 2015, a lot of 'other' folks were getting into the smuggling episode to reach Germany and they realized that Syrians and Iraqis had a higher chance of asylum acceptance. So fake IDs were procured and folks pretended to be Iraqi or Syrian.
This Ahmad guy? Who knows? He might be some Afghan or Pakistan guy. Maybe he's from Tunisia.
So when the asylum application got cancelled....naturally, the next step occurred....deportation got scheduled. But back in February, Ahmad got into serious trouble while waiting on deportation.
Ahmad was finally convicted of assault, property damage and insult to a probation, thus getting a sentence of seven months. All of this lead back to some type of episode at the local Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof (train station).
There at the station....he was all drunk and got into an argument with someone. Then he slugged the guy (injuring him).
So the authorities come and admit....well...Ahmad has been convicted several times. Trespassing, theft and even a drug offense. Then a little comment gets inserted to the end of the article....on the last court appearance with the juvenile judge presiding.....she (in Feb) noted that she believed that he'd likely go out and commit more crimes unless he had the influence of the jail-system.
Once this story hits the streets today, I think a fair number of Germans will reflect upon it and start asking more questions. Might this guy on the run....be the one that actually stabbed the German guy (with the other two simply observers or part of some fight)? With the troubles of this Ahmad guy....why couldn't the German system put him into prison, or lock him into some compound while he awaited deportation?
Blame here? It goes back to a marginalized program that was the product of a group of fifth-grade kids who run the German government. They simply never had a real plan or understood the task at hand. This Ahmad guy? Immature behavior and inability to adapt. Toss in booze and drug issues, and you have yourself a perfectly designed 'problem-child'.
