Mask 'Directions'

Finally, some official guidance given by medical experts and the German government, which may shock some folks.  Guidance given via N-TV.

First, if you use the cheaper paper-type mask (as I do)....it's basically good for a max of four hours. If the paper mask gets damp?  Immediately dump it.

Second, washing your cotton cloth mask for re-use?  You need to wash it at a minimum of 60 degree C.  They even recommend 90 degrees C as the better temperature.

Third, filtered masks (the more expensive ones) reduce humidity intake.

The odds that Germans are conducting themselves with the mask instructions?  Maybe a third of society....but there are a fair sum of Germans who use a paper-mask....over and over.  I keep one mask in the car just for refueling or quick stops....it's been there for two months now.
