With all this focus over the past couple of days on Moria (Lesbos, Greece)....most folks have the idea that this one single camp is the only migrant/asylum compound in Greece, and that's simply not true.
Other migrant camps exist on Kos, Chos, Leros, and Samos.
Uniqueness of the five islands? They were all within 20 miles of Turkey western coast.
Patience with the Greek locals? More or less no patience left. Between Covid-19 and the declining tourism trade (the high numbers of migrants didn't help matters)....these local are fairly frustrated with the Greek national government, the EU, and the lack of motion getting these folks moved on somewhere else.
