Sep 2020: Localized (Wiesbaden) Covid History

3 Sep: City reports 8 new cases of Covid in past 24 hours, makes a total of 887 since day one.  39 folks are in some type of quarantine (home or hospital).

9 Sep: City now says that it's safe to lift the midnight to 6 AM ban on alcohol sales (in effect for three months).    There's very little indication that the ban really helped.  Some people simply brought their own spirits and sipped private stock after midnight.

12 Sep: City reports a total of 3 infected in past 24 hours.  Total infected since day one: 949.

18 Sep: City police admit they've done 10,000 Covid-inspections since day one.

25 Sep: 40 new infections reported in past 7 days.  A total of 1,042 locals infected since day.

No deaths reported in September.  What you do see via the police blotter (since early summer) is a higher rate of assault, robber, street-crime.
