Small Shops

Our regional public TV folks (HR) have done a report on 2G requirements for stores in the state of Hessen.  For Covid, 2G means you can only enter the store if you vax'ed-up or recovered.  Non-vax can't enter, period.

So stores are contacting the government and giving them 'hell'....telling them profits are missing from their sales if this is enforced.

The shops hurt worst?  The smaller operations, and those in the inner-city regions.

What they want?  They want the government to pay them for their losses (probably to be compared against 2019).

Can the government do this?  I doubt it.

I noticed in another HR report.....the police are saying this enforcement 'gimmick' that they've been assigned.....is taking a fair amount of time.  They don't have the manpower to enforce the rules upon cafes, bars, stores, and restaurants.
