Infection Act Upgraded

As of this morning, the German Infection Protection Act has been modified by the Bundestag.

The wording?  If you work for a hospital, clinic, nursing/retirement home or serve as a ambulance driver/helper.....you have to be either recovered or vaccinated.

Deadline?  15 March 2022.

Effect?  No one has any idea.  Maybe if you went to just one single nursing home....they could tell you.  But at the national level, I don't think they have the slightest idea for the whole nation.

A  massive cluster-f*ck coming in early March?  Well....I suspect by late January....some numbers will come in and in particular areas of Germany....you might find 40-percent of nurses and nursing home personnel (in the eastern region) who aren't vax'ed-up or recovered.

Can they lay them off as of 16 March?  I have some doubts that they (the Bundestag or the Chancellor) want to engage in a massive shutdown.  The plain truth is that you have a nursing shortage existing presently across the country, and in nursing homes....it's pretty bad.

Will this be legally challenged?  There's an EU law written/passed in early 2021, which says the vaccination is a right to have, and a right to deny.  So I expect lawyers to start the challenge.  My humble guess is that some court will suspend the vax order until they can reexamine the whole 'game'.  So my general prediction is that 15 March will come, and nothing occurs one way or the other.

How the EU handles this?  Well....typically, they don't write out or erase rights.  This will be discussed for several months and nothing much will occur.
