Last night, via Channel One (ARD, public TV).....they ran the public-chat program (live)....'Hart Aber Fair' (Hard But Fair). Topic? Never-ending Covid and how much damage has now been done to the nation. It's certainly worth a review.
So in the middle of this discussion....with a lot of chatter which talked to Covid issues....someone got to the subject of mandatory vaccinations and how you'd go and force the medical system NOT to treat non-vax people (forbidding them entry into the hospital and just leaving them to survive on their own).
From my prospective, this talk has really intensified in the past two months. There are both doctors and politicians who've gone and suggested to stop giving medical attention/care to non-vax people who have Covid.
So in this discussion via Hart Aber Fair, someone finally asked if this was OK to forbid medical care for this reason....why couldn't they do the same for fat people or cigarette-smokers....just forbid medical care for them?
You'd start up an intense discussion if you said overly-obese people should be denied medical care, or that alcoholics who'd failed rehab after two occasions should not be given any medical help, for anything. Course, one out of three Germans would probably suggest it's a great idea and support this position.
All of this leading to some perceived bully-tactics? More or less. Once the entry to hospitals are established where a non-vax person is barred....you can assume some 'die-off' will occur, and the deaths due to Covid will jump in scale, with all kinds of chaotic news talks going on.
Adding to this discussion....then the idea of why the vax'ed-up people need hospitalization....if they are so protected by the vaccination. Shouldn't they also be barred from the hospital if they are protected?
Over the next month or two, I'd expect this discussion to be repeated a great deal.
