A Lesbian Story

I sat and read through this NY Post story....over a young gal, in Spain, who had health issues.

So this all occurred at a medical facility in Murcia, Spain (SE region).

What's generally said is that the young gal (19) shows up and complains about her mensuration cycle.  It was typically going at cycles of less than 19 days.  So she wanted a 'fix'.

For whatever reason....she also decided to tell them she was a lesbian.  I tried to imagine the necessity of admitting this....in any formal or informal way, but it's a loss to me.

At the end of the check-up and in writing the cause of the short mensuration cycle.....the doctors merely wrote the cause as being 'lesbian'.  Yes, it was basically suggesting if she wasn't lesbian....she wouldn't have the problem.

Complaint?  Oh yes.....the hospital reviewed the mess and said that there was a misunderstanding, and that the lesbian cause was written in the wrong column of the final report.

All of this however....would beg the question....in a normal day, how many screw-ups like this occur?  Five?  Ten?  Then you have to wonder....did anyone really exam her, or was it just a paperwork drill with tests involved?

But I sat down and read through the situation of polymenorrhea treatment....that's basically what her problem is.  Typically, most doctors will go to one normal treatment....birth control pills, which would lengthen your cycle (to normal).

Telling a lesbian that her treatment is birth control pills....even though she never engages in sex with guys?  It won't go well in the conversation between the doctor and patient.  I'm guessing in this case....the doctor wrote some shorten version of this situation, and just talked over the pills, and being a lesbian is a problem in this particular case.
