Focus reported today that the manager of the hotel is working on getting statements from the guests who were standing behind the singer Gil Ofarim.
The hint? Well....so far, some of what Ofarim heard is not exactly what people heard in this hotel conversation.
Someone (not originally the hotel employee) did make a statement with 'pack your Star of David'. Somewhere in the talk after that point, the suggestion is that the clerk did repeated the comment 'pack your Start of David'.
If it turns out that the hotel employee never uttered any of this (that it was a guest in line)? My belief is that the news media will drop this story like a hot potato and just act like they never heard a word of this story.
