Today starts a new era in Germany.....the 'free-test' deal for Covid is ended. From this point on....the quickie-test has a cost factor (some quote a price of 12 Euro, but most range from 15 to 25 Euro).
The government figures that in the 2G/3G era (meaning if you want bar/nightclub/restaurant action....you have to test/show recovery/show vaccination status for the 3G or show recovery/show vaccination for the 2G situation).....you will get forced into a corner.
The question is....what if this non-vax crowd looks at the cost factor (on their back) and says 'lets go a hundred days with me not socializing or consuming goods'? Can the German commerce system go a hundred days with twenty-percent of the customers not there?
My view is that if you go and view the commerce level right now today in Germany....come January, at least ten percent of the bars/pubs/restaurants won't be existing or marginally making it.
