I noticed this morning a business news piece....a brief talk about the economic cost of Covid, and the recession effect on Germany. Experts now figure that via the entire country and 83-million residents....roughly 7-billion extra Euro of new cost is dumped upon the nation....monthly.
You can figure regular grocery items, construction materials, gas prices, heating, electricity, and just general items are all adding up to the 7-billion Euro.
How long will this go on? Unknown. One might assume at least through the end of the year, and maybe even through half of 2022. The new taxes coming via the SPD-Green-FDP government? Well....that might ensure the 7-billion extra Euro continues through all of 2022, and probably even most of 2023 as well.
