1 May: State of Hessen announces that zoos, museums, hair-dressers, barbershops may now open. Playgrounds are given the 'green-light'.
4 May: 11th death from city reported. 93 year old woman, with previous illness.
8 May: Total number of infections reported since day one, at 350 now. Police called to a department store in Wiesbaden.....guy entered and refused to wear a mask. Clerk tried to talk to the guy......guy responded with a fist to the employee. Security for store called. Guy ran from the store and was not found by the police.
10 May: 200 demonstrators gathered....against Covid rules/bans. This was not a approved demonstration, so cops asked them to quietly leave.
11 May: 12th death in city. 76 year old guy, with previous illnesses noted.
14 May: Theaters now allowed back open. Restaurants allowed open but social distancing is going to cut out one-third of most tables.
17 May: Demonstration was allowed of anti-Covid people against the bans/regulations.
19 May: Mid-30s local German guy tried to correct younger folks (teens) on Covid hygiene problems.....group of six then jumped on the guy, beating him. This occurred around 5 PM (in daylight hours).
21 May: Police report numerous alcohol incidents relating to German Father's Day. Recognized as a holiday, most German guys normally drink a bit on this day, but with the Covid situation....people suggest more alcohol than usual was consumed.
22 May: New state regulation on travel. If you return from a trip beyond Germany....only if you come from a 'hot-zone' is quarantine mandated. To be honest, virtually all travel has halted by early April.
22 May: 13th death reported from the city. 69 year old man.
23 May: 14th death reported from the city. 75 year old man, with previous illnesses noted.
28 May: 15th death reported from city. 79 year old woman, with previous illnesses. 442 locals from the city have been noted as infected since day one. 68 are presently in home/hospital quarantine of some type.
29 May: 16th death reported from the city. 79 year old woman. 17th death reported from the city. 78 year old woman, with previous illnesses noted.
