In the suburb area of Pankow-Berlin (far NE part of Berlin)....the September election results suggested that the new incoming mayor would be a Green Party guy (with 25.5-percent of the vote).
Well....you need a coalition situation to be the mayor.
The SPD (21.5-percent of the vote) and the Linke Party (16.2-percent of the vote) apparently asked around and found 'other' votes and suddenly held a meeting....the previous mayor (Linke party member) was elected.
Some folks are hyped up because it would appear that the right-wing folks....the AfD Party....pushed their support toward the Linke guy.
Greens a bit peeved? So some degree, yeah.
