You have one EU election in the spring, and three state elections in the fall, of 2024.
What the Green Party, FDP and SPD Party have to worry about? All three did pretty crappy results for Sunday's election, and they can't afford to screw around for 2024.
Some people believe some legal fallout will occur with Chancellor Scholz over 'hidden' money in Hamburg (money-laundering). It might be enough that he has to resign, and some new SPD 'leader' would emerge.
Some people believe that the FDP sees chaos approaching, and maybe now is the time to 'quit' the coalition, and force a new election.
Some people see the Green Party treading water and unable to get positive views from the general public.
The hottest topics presently? The economy, refugees, and energy.
How the three state elections for the fall of 2024 appear? Well...all are eastern states, and the AfD is slated to probably win all three. Whether they can form a government....is another question by itself.
The odds of getting the voting age for federal elections down to 16? I'd say right now....it's not a hot topic.
