Dry Rhine?

I read a summary this AM where some scientists believe within 30 years, the Rhine will be totally dry because of a lack of glaciers.

I pondered this idea.

First, from October on, there's no real melt because of the temperature drop.  Springs keep the river 'going'.

Second,  if you were using this logic, virtually all rivers would go away.

BS?  I'd have to hear a lot more to believe these guys.

Course, me being optimistic, I'd look at this and say it'd be great to pave 20 roads across the Rhine between Mainz and Wiesbaden....ending all this bridge chaos.

No doubt the scientist received his data from a teenager from Sweden.
