1. I noticed off Focus....political survey done, conducted for ARD (public TV) morning news. CDU-CSU is now rated at 29 percent, with the SPD-FDP-Greens combined at 33-percent (FDP is marginally pulling 5-percent).
The Scholz coalition is simply treading water.
2. Freezing temperatures? Locally, for Sunday night in my town....it's supposed to be 0 C (32 F). Yeah, it's a bit early for that kind of temperature.
3. German military is preparing for evacuation flights out of Israel, for German citizens.
4. From last night in Berlin....masked folks threw Molotov cocktails at police cars.....shouting 'Allah Akbar'. It's drawing more public criticism of migrants.
5. German Environmental Minister has said that it should be easier to shoot/hunt wolves in Germany. Both farmers and hunters reacted....skeptically. No one really believes the BS change in attitude....one even suggesting a 10-page form to be filled out prior to each situation.
