I read this piece yesterday....worth a moment of discussion.
Germany now has the highest electrical cost per consumer....of any country in Europe (30.88 Euro cents per kWh). Strom-Report is the publisher of the data. It's almost double what you'd pay in Greece.
Chief reason? Well....it goes to increasing wind-power and lessening use of nuke-power.
German consumers? They do whine about this, but at the same time....they feel 'good' about the lesser used bad-power related to nuclear and coal energy. They accept the increase....to feel good over electrical power.
Will this continue as electrical power cars arrive, and you have to recharge every other day? I have my doubts.
