1. This 200,000 Euro found in a police raid in Hamburg.
I talked about this raid a few days ago, and it centered on a former SPD regional politician by the name of Johannes Kahrs. Police now state that they confirm the find of the 200,000 in the bank safe deposit box but can't attribute it to anything illegal (yet).
Focus has the best update.
What journalists suspect....this leads back to the Cum-ex banking scandal, and some connection with Kahrs.
Back in the summer of 2020.....Kahrs 'retired' from politics.
Where this investigation will lead onto? Hard to say.....but there's probably another two years of investigation to go, and it's possible that it could collapse the current government in Berlin.
2. Odd police shooting in Dortmund.
Basically, some 16-year-old kid came at police with a knife. They reacted....shooting him. He died later at the hospital.
This confrontation occurred near a youth-welfare-facility, and the kid seemed to have been acting strangely.
3. The Pentagon says Russia has lost around 80,000 men either via injury or death....in the Ukraine.
To put this into prospective....the Russians lost 15,000 men in Afghanistan in the 10-year campaign there.
4. Patricia Schlesinger, who was head 'chair' off ARD public TV, and 'boss' at RBB (Berlin-Brandenburg public TV)....quit both positions over the past ten days, because of the spending of TV funds for private catering at her house.
Well....according to ARD today....she's now under police investigation. One of the accusations on the list is a construction project for RBB, with the suggestion that she may have abused her position in the selection process.
5. We have an unusual problem developing in my regional state of Hessen.....lack of driving instructors. Young people desiring licenses and training....are actually being turned away because of the limited number of instructors presently.
