The German government announced this morning the surcharge business. It's set to save the natural gas providers with enough capital through the spring of 2023....to make up for last year's losses.
For a normal guy (small apartment)? About 143 Euro a year.
For a couple (medium sized apartment)? About 345 Euro a year.
For a regular-sized house? In the range of 550 Euro a year.
For the house folks....it's a fair chunk of money.
Will VAT (the sales tax) be forced onto this situation? Well....no one has said anything yet. (It'd be usually a 19-percent tax).
