Well....it's scripted out pretty good. The Russian company providing the natural gas via Nord Stream I.....GAZPROM....now says that the sanctions of Germany prevent the turbine device (which was in Canada for a overhaul) from rightfully returning to Russia.
Yeah.....it's the worst possible 'hand' for the Scholz government.
I would imagine the next two months....there will be talks, with no real results.
If you ponder upon it.....the odds of three nuke plants closing in December? It's probably only a 10-percent chance of the closure now. Some chatter indicates that the previous three (December 2021) are ready to bring up, and I would speculate it's a 50-50 chance they will be bought on line.
As for fracking chatter now? It's really pumped up in the past ten days. Even for re-starting fracking in Germany (shut down since 2016).....I'd say the odds of approving fracking is now approaching a 50-50 situation.
For environmentalists....it's a weird time to be around.
