Observations

 1.  After Sri Lanka.  If you follow the German news business.....there's been a lot of hype over the past three weeks  of the 'fall' of the Sri Lanka government (president escaping from the country at the last minute).

Well....last night via ARD (public TV) news brought up Pakistan. All this economic fallout that occurred in Sri Lanka government....is currently going on in Pakistan, with the standard of living suffering greatly.

How big of a deal would it be....if Pakistan fell apart?  Journalists put this at a higher risk with serious impacts regionally if they fell apart.  Yeah, there are nukes at risk.

2.  That fire in Grunewald (five miles from the center of Berlin)?  Well....it's still going on, and more explosives (in storage bunkers) are exploding.  It's reached a level where the S-bahn railway (light rail) in the local area is shut-off now.

For reference, it's west of the Brandenburg Gate....about a three-hour walk.  So it's not that far.

Why the police storage area for confiscated explosives was in a forest?  Still not fully explained.  It's generally discussed that the storage site has been there for a number of years.  The Grunewald Forest is approximately 3 miles by 6 miles in size.  Up until this point, it was a regional forest where people went on walks, or biked.
