One of the nifty things about being vaccinated up for Covid, is that scientists and doctors now report that vaccinated people who do get Covid....tend to have fewer symptoms (in the beginning stage).
So you sit and think about this.
You'd have symptoms X, Y and Z in 2020.....call the doctor probably on day one or two....he'd ask about the regular symptoms, then tell you to come over for a test (generally outside of his clinic). If you answered with less than the regular symptoms....he'd tell you that you have just a regular cold and not to worry about it (no test given).
So in this new era.....maybe around the 4th or 5th day.....now you start to have symptoms X, and Y. If you don't have the dry cough? It's probably 50-50 odds that the doctor will just say it's a cold and tell you 'no' on the Covid test. Maybe around the 7th or 8th day? Now the dry cough settles in. The test is now conducted, and confirms the Covid.
So for that seven to eight day period.....you went to the grocery or the office, being lead to believe it was a regular bad cold, and probably gave Covid to forty odd people? Yeah.
It's just one of those odd things that you consider. The vaccination was a good thing.....but it lead to your chances of having 'hidden' Covid, and lesser chances of being tested. The upswing now of people still having Covid? You have to wonder.....is the majority of this because of the lesser symptoms and more of a chance to 'hang-out' or socialize?
Just something to wonder about.
