Germany and Covid: 1 Nov 2021

 1.  Highest rate of incidence in Germany?   It's a town about an hour east of Munich....by the name of Muhldorf.  Rate presently (today)?  654 per 100k residents.

2.  Talk of bringing back the 'free' Covid tests?  Well....the state of Bavaria is talking about this idea, but only for people who've been vaccinated.  Odds of this happening?  I don't think the federal government wants to pay 18 Euro per test (even I agree, it was a hefty amount). Upsetting the non-vax folks?  Yeah.

My suggestion would be offer the subsidized test....vax-people pay 4 Euro....non-vax folks pay around 6 Euro, and the government throw ten Euro into the pot to cover cost.
