In the last hour....report out of Berlin. Some weird accident. Based on police reporting.....car drove into a crowd of people. One dead so far.....maybe around 30 wounded.
Driver? Man....beyond that....nothing.
Basic description (with live reporting)? Around 10:30....over on Tauentzienstrasse, near the Memorial Church and the Ku'damm....car came up on the sidewalk area.
May have been a medical condition with the driver.....more to come by tonight.
UPDATE: Well....there's some odd letters/posters in the car (driver is dead). Statements about Turkey but it wasn't clear what the notes meant. 29-year old guy.
Wounded? Six folks pretty bad off (they will be in the hospital for a while), with one lady dead.
Yeah, all a bit weird, but the guy doesn't sound like a terrorist....more like a guy who had mental issues.
