German News

 1.  Bavarian rail accident from yesterday still under investigation.  One remarkable thing.....15 members of the German Bundeswehr (Army) were on this train....surviving and without injury.  The 15 went into action and helped a great deal in the first 30 minutes of accident.  They ought to get some medal action out of their conduct.

2.  If you are a German, drunk, and riding an E-scooter?  Well....court case came up in Munich with a guy who had 1.52 on alcohol.  Court says 9,000 Euro in a fine, and loss of his license.  Pretty much limited to walking, public transportation, or riding a bike.

3.  Some report in Focus today....saying that around 40-percent of Russian military units are refusing orders to the 'front'.  Pretty bad sign of authority, if this were true. I'd suggest that within 30 days.....that 40-percent will grow to double it's present size. The war may just end by late July....because Russian units refuse to fight.

4.  One odd aspect of the Bavarian train accident.....there were X-number of people onboard the train when it left, and rescue folks brought Y-number out of the train.  So, it's a 14-person group missing.

Yeah.....a bit odd and some folks are asking how sure they were about the 14.

My belief?  Some folks just stumbled or crawled out....walked away without saying anything, and didn't see a need to ID themselves.

It's not like NY City where you knew there were 70 people on a train-car, and then you notice 370 folks claiming they were riding the car and want 'status'.
