N-TV brought up this odd topic in business news this AM.
So, the Deutsche Bank had around 1,500 IT 'experts' who worked in St Petersburg/Moscow. With the sanctions underway....they went and arranged a visa-deal.....offering jobs in Berlin to 1,500.
At this point, several hundred have signed on and have left.
The odds that all will take the deal? No one says much. I could see some being worried about the idea of permanently leaving Russia.
But this brings up the IT community in Russia....just in general. Based on commentary....I would suggest that a quarter-million IT experts are reviewing options, and considering some drastic move by the end of 2022.
Germany quietly benefiting from this conflict? Well.....yeah.
