As of 1 October....the minimum wage in Germany will go to 12 Euro per hour (voted upon yesterday in the Bundestag).
About 6.2 million Germans in the mix for the raise.
Currently? Set at 9.82 per hour, and on 1 July....would rise to 10.45 Euro.
Affecting inflation? Well...none of the politicians or journalists speak of this issue. If you get a finance expert or economics professor to discuss it....yeah, inflation will be hit.
What you will notice around early October.....as you go to burger operations or bars....just about everything will rise around 10-percent (my humble belief). This will trigger a national reaction and for about two months....inflation across the board will escalate a bit.
The mini-job rate? Yeah, that was voted upon and it'll rise from 450 Euro a month to 520 Euro a month. That also will trigger some inflation woes.
